A Diver poses with one of the many underwater dive sites that White Star Quarry has to offer. More sites are being added each year. There are numerous opportunities to dive and explore.
Seasonal Visibility can be outstanding at times. The platform pictured is in 20ft of water and is visible from the surface. White Star has three main platforms for student divers.
The north side of the quarry has a "deep entrance" where divers can giant stride into the water and gain access to the submerged relics of the quarry's past.
The motorcyle is a popular underwater attration for divers wishing to get their photo taken. This site has been featured on the front of national dive magazines.
Sunken boats, buildings, cars and even an underwater forest all are accessible to divers in the 25' to 60' depth range. Visibility in the quarry rarely drops below 20' but can be clearer during the colder months.
Although it requires some careful navigation (or a long surface swim) the Frito Lay truck is a popular underwater attraction and swim through.
